NOT TO BE MISSED!
For 1000 Miles Apart The Mackenzie Art Gallery has installed three early ceramic sculptures by Joe Fafard in their Orientation Gallery. They are a promised gift and include two beautifully glazed cows from 1978 and an important portrait of Poundmaker from 1979 – a sculpture that showed at the National Gallery of Canada as part of the 1980 show “Pluralities.”
