We will be hosting a chilli lunch for all conference attendees on Saturday, September 28 from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.
Please bring a bowl to exchange for someone else’s bowl in the Chilli Lunch and Bowl Exchange. If you don’t have a bowl to bring, don’t worry, the University of Manitoba Ceramics Club will have some bowls available for $10.00 each.
All bowls will be filled up with chilli – vegetarian and meat options available – and there will be buns and condiments to go with it.

MFA Forum
Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
You are invited to participate in the first ever 1000 Miles Apart MFA Forum. This is an information session and question and answer period for all those who are interested in going to graduate school or have been to grad school already. It’s open to anyone who is interested in sharing thoughts or who may have questions.
Faculty and visiting artists have been invited to participate. Three of the five schools that take turns hosting 1000 Miles Apart have MFA programs and this is an excellent opportunity to gather info and ask questions about the different programs, the application process, facilities, studios, scholarships, TA-ships, housing, etc.
